Meet Ekranoplan, the secret Russian transport

The Ekranoplan is a Lun-class (harrier) seaplane designed by Rostislav Evgenievich Alexeev and used by the Soviet and Russian navies from 1987 to sometime in the late 1990s. The code name NATO reporting name is Duck. It is one of the largest seaplanes ever built, with a length of 73m, powered by eight Kuznetsov NK-87 turbofans, each one producing an astonishing 127.4 kN thrust.
