DIY - Start Trek Doors
posted December 1 2010 11:57.32 by Giorgos Lazaridis

We do remember Marc from uiproductions with his iPhone Controlled LED Suit. He came back with a new DIY project taken directly from Star Trek. He hacked his door to open like the door of the Starship Enterprise! He used Two 16" stroke, 3/4" bore pneumatic pistons along with a 5-way 12V pneumatic valve. He has also a small air compressor with tank to provide the compressed air for the piston. Beam me up, Scotty!!!
