This mechanical bird looks so real that may get shot

Festo is known for the top quality pressurized air systems, but not only. Festo has a division named Bionic Learning Network, in which researchers try to develop pneumatic systems that mimic motions in nature, from humans or animals. In 2010 i had post a similar blog entry about Festo Bionics. This new achievement though is more than impressive. Festo managed to mimic the bird flying motion, and they made a bird that looks like real when flying. Watch the following video:
