Metal detecctor and collector robot

This bot is a creation of youtube user Prometheus27111992. It carries an inductive metal detector with which it sweeps the area in front of it. If it detects something metallic, the detector rotates 180 degrees, and on the other side is a big electromagnet which graps the object. Then a drawer-like platform is deployed and the electromagnet places the object inside. The bot is also able to navigate in complex environments, using an ultrasonic range detector placed on top, and 2 IR range detectors one on each side. The radar scans the area by rotating the ultrasonic transceiver. Everything is controlled with two Basic Stamp 2 microcontrollers programmed in PIC Basic. Visit his channel for more info.
