Suzuki V-Strom gear indicator
posted November 11 2010 15:39.38 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Suzuki V-Strom is one of the most popular touring motorcycles on-off motorcycles. This project from Aquaticus ROV is made for these bikes. This gadget uses the Atmel Atmega88 micro to control everything. The display is a 8 by 8 LED green matrix display. Upon gear change, the number scrolls up/down or left/right (according to setup). The board measures also the temperature with a built-in sensor, which is also displayed on the matrix. All settings are controlled with a single button. The following video demonstrates the prototype board. Waiting for schematics and software in this link.
