MS releases official Non-Commercial SDK for Kinect

If you can't win them, join them, people use to say. Not that anyone (and i mean the Kinect hackers) needed their help so far, but it will be a good kick no matter what. Over the weekend, Microsoft announced its intention to bring a starter kit for development basically, a box of tools so developers can legitimately take advantage of the Kinect's potential. IMHO, i do not like hacking being margined, so developers, please do not fall asleep... [source: popsci]
