Robot Barber shaves a man's head [Video]
posted March 26 2012 22:41.41 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Its for a good purpose as well! This demo of the Multi-Arm UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) shaving a volunteer's head was done in order to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a charity committed in funding research for finding a cure for childhood cancer. This tri-armed articulated robot is designed to handle tools, perform inspections and deal with IEDs remotely, but obviousely it was not design to perform a haircut (as you will agree)
