The lazy and in hurry PSU

That's the simplest panel i could thing of when i wanted a panel for my psu acting as a bench supply.
And that's the most sloppy way to do it.

First an idea. Oh, what's that?

Let's find something to put in it, let's say an old psu. Without so many wiring of course, remember the lazy part?

Parts collected from here and there but of the outmost quality.

And action!
With the monstrous (1800w 138000rpm ) Doit! and without bothering to change tool you cut rougly and measuring with the never mistaking eye tool we all have (prefer the right).

Parts attached and listed as from top left to right:
PSU power (detached from the back of it)
PSU power on (you know the green and black wires from the 24 pin cable)
Left toggle 5V
on led
on led
rigth toggle 12v
you know the rest

Notice what happens, you measure approximately and the parts barely dont touch each other, others of course can take it as higly integrated engineering (the man knows what he's doing ).

Take your time admiring it but sometime start wiring it.

If i find the bastard who left flux in the face of the panel i will kill him. 
Notice also the indented missalignment of the power switches, needs some serius calculations so that both lean same degrees.

Not to forget that all switch contacs where covered with a super secret material with code name hot glue which also needed in wiring, psu attachment and everywhere else you can think of. All safety measures had been taken and the voltage outputs where checked with the DT-830B digital multimeter legendary for it's accuracy in the range of 6-10 euro multimeters.
The whole project took almost 8 days to be finished, 7 and a half of them consumed in the design process and the placement of the psu.

Very good spic0m! And i suppose that you will never lack of current

I had some details about the wiring of those PSUs but i did not found the space to put them. I suppose this is the perfect place for them:

Orange: +3.3V
Blue: -12V
Yellow: 12v
Purple: 5 VSB
White: -5V
Red: 5V

Green: PWR on (Should be connected with the ground to start the psu operating)
Grey: PWR ok. It is always hot even if the psu is not operating (but it is in the mains)

My opinion is that you need congratulations for the reportation of this project only ( the way that you show us the construction ).
For me, this box is not nice.You should use a close box .
And secondary you don't have fuses for protection!!!

A closed box needed more digging in my junk box and more work, don't forget that this was a lazy project. 
It's not nice but it does the job and has excellent cooling capabilities  .
Protection needs the psu from me not the opposite .
